When you've been in the industry for over 15 years, there comes a point when you wonder if you can do more for your clients.


I figured it was time to help even more than I already was.  Not only on the planning side, but protecting them from the world of financial “sales” and gimmicks. 

What I mean, is throughout my travel and experience in the financial world.   I’ve learned a lot, both good and bad.  

You can keep going and playing along or you can shake things up.  

I chose the latter. 

My financial industry experience led me through some great career paths, and elsewhere dealing with opportunistic bottom dwellers.  

The theme was the same, meaning to sell. Just keep selling and everyone will be ok.  This was the “hostage” situation you felt you were in with each company. 

I learned it does not need to be like that.


Just help each individual and get rid of the sales goal… the pressure is gone; you can always do what’s right for the client without the company backlash of why you didn’t pull money in for them.  

That’s why OTIUM was built.


 Justin and I are using our almost 30 years of experience to help the client move forward, while keeping the money in their pocket... where it belongs.
